We started the week with the Spring Equinox, embarking on a new season, and a new astrological year. We have crossed over another threshold not only in consciousness but also in nature’s wisdom.
Yet, there is so much re-organization in the planetary scheme that is worth highlighting a couple of points, especially for those of us who may feel a little off or something we can’t necessarily describe.
I find that when transiting planets are both personal and in retrograde motion, like Venus is now and Mercury about to, there is a faster demand on our part to integrate and assimilate the energies, to understand what we are working with, and how to make sense of change and needed adjustments. If these transits affect our personal planets we are in for a treat 🙂 plus the element of the sign they are in will color additionally our experience i.e. water versus fire.
In the current scenario we also have to consider the influence of the new astrological year, ending with a cycle in Pisces (water), starting over with a cycle in Aries (fire).
Pisces is the last sign of the zodiac. It has accumulated qualities from the previous 11 signs, both positive and challenging ones, and it is a place where we come to synthesize our experiences and what we learned through the previous monthly initiations.
We come back to our hearts, to our center where all things start, waiting in silence for the new spark of life to emerge. That new spark of life energetically is born as the Sun moves into Aries at the Spring Equinox, and the cycle of new creation begins.
Mercury captures the way we think, how we process and communicate that information, how we assess our options synthesizing what makes sense.
Venus captures our aspiration for fulfillment at all levels, through right relationships, what we value, and how we value our time, energy and money.
In Aries those qualities become the sustenance of our life, the foundation of what we stand on and what we then build on that foundation. It is not a light approach because we must examine everything through the physical-emotional-mental and spiritual perspectives, and how these express (or not) through our personal, business, social and community life.
Mercury and Venus coming together ask for an update in our thinking process, the thought forms we have created and which may rule our affairs, whether we are conscious of it or not. At the same time, re-evaluating how we feel within what we have created, what we are willing to let go and what to embrace anew.
This is a greater question to work with and reflect on until the end of April, but having the added influence of Mercury now helps.
So take this week to note your thoughts, feelings, and any recurring themes that show-up. It is very empowering to be able to track our experiences and the learning we gain from them, which we always do even if at the time it does not look so.
Have a great week!
